Restábal

The village is located 538 meters above sea level and has 493 inhabitants (2013). The village is forming together with the villages Melegis and Saleres, the municipality of El Valle. Restábal is located near the confluence of the rivers Durcal and river Saleres, at the foot of the hill of Cajorros. The life of the inhabitants is mainly related to agricultural activities.

Chapel: Ermita del Cerro located at the street Calvario;
Castle ruins: the castle remains dates from the 14th century, Nazari time. It played the role of controlling the surrounding farmsteads and checkpoint from the Lecrín Valley to the coast, passing through Restábal and Guájares. There are fragments of what must have been a wall.
