The final breakthrough came with the construction of houses by the Institute for Agrarian Reform and Development. Immigration has also grown in recent years, where the population now exceeds 2,000. Agriculture marks the rhythm of economic growth in this town and has its turning point in the development of intensive agriculture under plastic. The village has one beach.
