Renovated Convent at the Borders of Lake Negratin (Baza)

This renovated monastery is located next to Los Banos de Zújar,in the region of Baza (Granada). This palace has been built in the sixteenth century and is now situated on the shore of the reservoir Negratin. The complex has only seven rooms; three double rooms, three tower double rooms and a suite. Each room has a tiled floor and a wood-beamed ceiling, as well as a private bathroom with a bath and shower.There is a big communal kitchen which the guest may use. There is also a communal terrace with views on the lake, a barbecue area, and a large garden with a communal swimming pool.  The guesthouse is organizing a lot of activities like a boattrip on lake Negratin, canoeing, archery and paintball.

Description

This renovated monastery is located next to Los Banos de Zújar, in the region of Baza (Altiplano, Granada). This monastery / palace has been built in the sixteenth century and is now situated on the shore of the reservoir Negratin. In this building lived and died the Marquise Julia, the protagonist of the novel "The Prodigal" written by Pedro Antonio de Alarcón, who wrote it here in one of the rooms. The writer lived here for a long time.

The complex has only seven rooms; three double rooms, three tower double rooms and a suite. Each room has a tiled floor and a wood-beamed ceiling, as well as a private bathroom with a bath and shower.There is a big communal kitchen which the guest may use . In this spacious kitchen you will find a fridge, hob, and a dining table. There is also a communal terrace with views on the lake, and a large garden with a communal swimming pool. The breakfast is included in the price. The guesthouse is organizing a lot of activities like a boattrip on lake Negratin, canoeing, archery and paintball
