Guided Visit Winery Señorío de Nevada - Cónchar (Granada)

The winery is 21-hectare big and is situated close to the boders of the natural and historical region of La Alpujarra at 650 meters above sea level.  This high-mountain slaty soil presents a large quantity of minerals and has a marvellous micro-climate., due to the combination of Sierra Nevada's climatic factors, the sea and the three rivers. During the grape maturity season the temperatures fluctuate between 35 °C during the day and 13 ºC at night. That's why the grape harvest takes place in October, after a long and rain-free maturing period, blessed with a radiant sun.

The winery is producinge the following wine varieties Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. They also decided to recover a local wine variety called Tempranillo, used in the past by local winegrowers to colour their musts. The wines are made by using these unique varieties. The wines are currently being studied by one of the most prestigious oenological centres of Bordeaux, to verify their performance on this side of southern Europe


A Wine Tasting Course is held every month from 18:00 to 20:00 (please contact the winery to know the exact date) and it takes 2 hours. Prior registration is necessary  by phone because of limited places. Price: 29'50€ per person (VAT included) 

Cellar tours

A guided tour from the grapevine to the bottle, going over our wines' elaboration places and processes. Includes the tasting of all of these attentions' result: our wine.

Available in English and Spanish (subject to availability). Price: € 12 per person with a single type of wine tasting, or € 21 if you prefer to taste three of our varieties.
