Lavadero Puerta del Sol
The laundry is of Jewish origin of the seventeenth century and was in use until 1965.It was a place to do laundry for the public that had homes without running water. It had also was of great social importance, it were spaces of female sociability. It was close located to the Arab gate Puerta del Sol, also known as the East or Mauror.
The views from here are beautiful, the tower of the Cathedral, the distric Realejo and the Sierra Nevada.
