Iglesia del Salvador
This church was built in the 16th century on the remains of the former Great Mosque of Albaicin. On the innersquare Almohad Abluciones you can see even today the remains of columns and a cistern that were preserved in the sixteenth and seventeenth century .Among some of the main attractions that keeps the church you can see the picture of the sacrament, Bocanegra or a carved sculpture of Pedro Duque Cornejo.
By paying a entrance fee of € 0.75 you can see the church, and the Almohad patio. Opening hours: Monday till Friday from 12:00 - 14:00.
Its mass schedule is:
- From Monday to Saturday at 20:00 pm.
- On Sundays only you can visit at 11.30 am.
