Iglesia de Santo Domingo

The church is located on a square in the center of the district Realejo. The construction began in 1512 and it was part of the Monastery of Santa Cruz. It has several styles: Baroque, Gothic and late Renaissance. The Gothic taste can be seen in its arches and vaults. It was completed in the Renaissance, and built by different artists. It makes it one of the most important buildings of Granada. On the square is also  the statue of Fray Luis de Granada. Next to the church is the convent Santa Domingo situated.
