Iglesia de San Luis


This church which is now in ruins since the fire it suffered during the Second Spanish Republic War. It was built on a mosque of which the cistern next to the façade remains. It had side chapels and the current tower added in the eighteenth century. The Chilean architect Sebastián Vizcarra has won recognition for the transformation of the church in a community center. The church is property of the municipality. The mayor wanted to install a confrere museum a the place.
