Carmen Max Moreau (Museum)


In this houses lived for over thirty years the painter Max Leon Moreau, of Belgian origin, who bequeathed the house and part of his works to the city of Granada. It is a typical house of the neighborhood of Albaicin, surrounded by walls and has inside a courtyard with pond. In the house is an exhibition with a selection of his works and the work room of Moreau himself, preserved as he left it. In addition, visitors can enjoy the same atmosphere as breathed the artist. In the garden are a vine, figs, roses and geraniums, as well you can enjoy the beautiful views on the Alhambra.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday: 10:00 to 13:30 and from 16.00 to 18.00. Sundays, Mondays and holidays: closed.
