Basílica de las Angustias
The Basilica of the Virgen de las Angustias, has a Baroque façade. In it we find the Virgin de las Angustias, Patroness of Granada. Every year she leaves in a procession on the last Sunday of September. People from different parts of Spain are coming to Granada to watch this, because it is the only time she leaves the church and there is no other day in the year that we see her on the street.
September 15th is the day of the Virgin and a floral tribute is asked.
