The Mines of Albuñol - Mina Geoda de Yeso

A path goes along the area known as Las Angosturas, overlooking the scenic and impressive Cerro del Gato Canyon At the head of the Barranco de los Morenos, you are able to visit the inside of a cave-mine which contains a Geoda of plaster of great beauty, size and variety of crystallization. The descent passes through a well dug in different carbonate materials path: dolomitic marbles of limestone origin, conglomerates which gives the ravine  wide color range. The canyon is a typical gully runoff with highly polished rock and tubular shapes such as a cascade called "Fireplace" Certainly an adventure accessible to all physical levels, in an unfamiliar place full of hidden surprises.
