Natural Area La Sequoias of La Losa

These redwood trees are 25 till 30 meters high and the highest trees of the province. You need four to five people to embrace the trunk. They were brought from California in 1839. It was a gift of the Duque of Wellington to the Marques de Corvera. You can find the trees on the way from Huescar to Santiago de Espada. There are two groups of trees. The first one is situated next to the road and is free to visit. The second group is situated on private land.
