Cueva Las Palomas - Herradura

The cave is located on the south side of the sea cliffs of Natural Park Cerro Gordo. The access is only by boat from the beach of La Herradura or Cantarrijan. The entrance of the cave is 15 m by 4 meters and you can enter the first 8 meters by boat. The rock walls are carpeted with a orange coral just below the waterline which is in sharp contrast with the emerald green waters. The cave is a large sloping room about 80 meters long and 40 meters wide and at some part 20 meters high 20 meters.  The final part of the cave is situated 37 meters aboe sealvel.
