This natural park is actually a Zoo which is situated just 40 minutes from Almuñécar and will be the place for nature lovers and fans of active tourism. The place is a point where different geographical reliefs comes together: the foothills of Sierra Nevada, the Alpujarras landscape and the tropical valley. In this landscape of contrasts, the visitor can breathe the natural scents of thyme and rosemary, enjoying the typical Mediterranean vegetation and observing wild animals such as deer or wild mountain goats.
The park was built next to the old road that connected the coast with Granada. On the highest point of the park you can also practice paragliding, and in the park are mountain biking routes.
The park has a variety of animals such as ibex, deer, mouflon, fallow deer, hippo, bear, baboon, kangaroo wolf, camel, ostrich, emu, horse, llama, eland, conch water, wild boar, barbary sheep, etc
