Scientific Park (El Parque de las Ciencias) - Granada


Parque de las Ciencias is an interactive museum of over 70.000 m2 big. It is located on a short distance from the historic city centre of Granada. This museum has one of the most varied subjects for cultural and scientific leisure in Europe and you can easily spend a whole day in & outside. That is why almost half a million people are visiting this museum every year! Specially for kids it is a must see; there is a special children section where day can practice experiments, the BioDome (forest & aquarium), butterfly park, the bird show etc.  It is an excellent environment where they can take part in recreational activities which combine entertainment with new ways of expanding their knowledge.

Foucault´s Pendulum Building

Discover the fragile balance of our planet, multiply your

reflection inside the Tunnel of Infinity and trap your

shadow in the Biosphere, Perception and Eureka exhibition

halls. And for the youngest guests, there is the Exploration

Hall.

 

Planetarium.

Enjoy an exciting journey through the Universe with a projection of over 7.000 stars.

 

Natural Spaces Pavilion

All about the natural spaces of Andalusia, as well as a

focus on the environment and its conservation.

 

Outdoors

The museum has at the back a big open space with Botanical Routes, Astronomy Garden, Astronomical Observatory, Mental Gymnastics Marquee, dynamic sculptures, Energies Zone, exhibitions on mechanics and perception and other open air games.

BioDome

A space dedicated to Education, Conservation and Research of biodiversity on the planet. The BioDomo recreates the climate of the tropical strip, and houses more than 250 species between animals and plants.

Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.

Sundays, holidays and Mondays prior to holidays

from 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.

 

Closed: January 1st, May 1st and December 25th.

Every Monday (except holidays and prior to holidays).

Planetarium: Show times are confirmed at the ticket

booth, with approximately one session every hour.

Reduced entry fee: Visitor older than 65, younger than 18

and organise groups of more than 15 persons.
