Aquarium Acuario de Fauna Mediterránea - Almuñécar


This aquarium with Mediterranean species is located on the Avenue of Europe and 5oo meters from the beach of San Cristobal. The visit to the Aquarium offers a journey through the ecosystem and marine life of the Mediterranean and especially the sexitano coast. In addition to the 18 Aquariums, it has an oceanarium with an impressive one million liters of water on a panoramic tunnel of 17 m. of length. Inside the facility are approximately 3,000 specimens belonging to 270 different species among which, among others, the impressive gray and bull sharks, seahorses and jellyfish. The Aquarium of Almuñécar is a landmark for tourists and visitors of Almuñécar, because it is the largest and most modern of Andalusia
