The Fortress of Castillo de los Baños

This fortress was built in the sixteenth century under Philip II in order to defence the coast. It has been rebuilt in the 18th century.

The fortess has two towers topped at the same hight by respective towers with a four pitched roof. It is one of the most remarkable and desirable historic buildings in the area. Until recently, it was the headquarters of the Civil Guard.
