The Castle Ruins of Dólar

The ruins are situated on a hill from which you can see the whole town and its environments. There is a notification of its existence in the twelfth century. It was walled  and its function would be to give shelter to the population in case of external attacks. The castle had an outstanding wall - the pareón - which was pulled over by a strong wind in 1984.
