Aqueduct - Calicasa
This aqueduct is located in the country side of Calicasas. This construction and other elements were part of the old Albolote water channel, which was constructed during the reign of Carlos III. This is another example of an irrigation project in the 17th century that ended unfinished. It was finally replaced by the modern system of irrigation from the nearby reservoir Cubillas. The construction is about 100 meters long.
