Cuevas del Campo

The village is situated at 855 meters above sea level and has 1919 inhabitants (2014). Cuevas del Campo is situated very near to four natural parks; Sierra de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas, Sierra de Castril and Sierra de Baza. Its geographical location makes it an ideal place to enjoy the panoramic views of the countryside through their view points such as Mirador del Negratín.

Watersport activities can be practiced at Lake Negratin. Also simming is allowed in this lake that has the only nudist beach interior Andalucia. With Eastern the village is turning 2000 years back because the people of the whole town will be dressed like they were in that time. This festival is one of the most interesting of Andalucia.

Mina de agua: en el barranco "Tio Juanete": They exploit outcrops of groundwater. They did this by building mines, in which, drop by drop, from the roof of the cave and by the walls the water accumulated in a small pool. The pool is generally located at the entrance of the mine, in this way it could be used for irrigation and was creating a small oasis.
