The dive spot is located east of the naturist beach Cantarriján. The start of the dive will depend on the stream and direction. There is a very large rock, that reaches from the surface to a depth of maximum 20 m. Being in the Natural Park Cerro Gordo, the underwater life is abundant, with large stones completely covered with benthic organisms, including the colorful coral orange (Astroides calicularis), yellow encrusting anemone (Parazoanthus axinellae) and various coral cups, anemones and sponges. On the bottom of sand and gravel are plenty Cerianthus membranaceus, groups of mullet fish and elegant sea dusters (Sabella spallanzanii). You can also find pen shells (Pinna nobilis), the largest bivalve mollusk in the Mediterranean.

It is advisable to carry a flash light in order to take a look into the cracks that are formed by rock crashes in this area. In these cracks it is possible to see croakers, brótolas, conger eels, octopuses, and with some luck, also groupers. It is a dive without difficulty, but you must pay attention to your buoyancy and flutter and also taking extreme caution in order to avoid damaging the subsurface and the abundant benthic fauna.
