The perfect chasm in order to enter the world of caving. It is situated in the municipality of Nivar, between the old trenches of the Spanish Civil War and overlooking the reservoir Cubillas and the mountains of Parapanda, Elvira and Sierra Nevada. The entry goes by abseiling 20 meters down but perfectly accessible for the general public. The cave opening is developing between stalactites and stalagmites and  with some down climbing aided by a rope you are going the way down. You can also see the remains of the scaffolding of a former mining exploration which give name to the chasm.
