This activity is suitable for all levels. It combines abseiling and caving in an environment, that is known for its archaeological, geological and botanical interest. Regarding wildlife, it will be easy to spot agiles, mountain goats and different kinds of birds of prey, such as the eagle owl, golden eagle, kestrel, sparrowhawk, and various other wild birds. The excursion starts with descending the Canyon of Angosturas, rappels of little difficulty in a radical environment. Halfway there is a stop in order to visit to the Cueva de Murcielagos (Bat Cave). This historic cave is located in one of the margins of the central part of the canyon. Inside the cavity (which is not difficult to access) the guide will give a brief explanation about the historic site and the remains that they found in it. The excursion will continue with descending the canyon in order to arrive at another point where a mine is visited. This mine is located in one of the walls of the ravine. In order to get back to the bed of the canyon a Tyrolean traverse is used. The descent is continuing without difficulties to the exit of the canyon.

Material Needed


For this activity participants are advised to wear hiking boots as the path of the ravine is full of inequalities and stones
