The route is passing below a medieval castle used for the defense of these "Thermopylae alpujarreñas". Halfway the route you will see the footprint of the waterfall Barranco de Alcornocalejo, in most cases there is no water. At this point there is a stop for a curious visit to the mouth of a chasm. Right after this, starts a much more narrow stretch in which the rappeling is starting.
