Mill Apartment 1- Galera (Altiplano)

The spacious apartment is situated in the part of the traditional mill where the flour was delivered, once the wheat or oats was milled. Underneath the floor of the bathroom and the master bedroom ran the water through a channel that moved the millstones. This is one of the most iconic apartements of the mill. It communicates through the hall with the communal lounges and the apartment is accessible for wheelchairs. It has a large living room with fireplace, a kitchen, two bedrooms of which one with double bed and one with two single beds. This is the apartment which is the coolest of the mill in the summer, so the use of the air conditioning is not necessary. It has a heating and a fireplace for the winter.

It is a complex for rural tourism and ecological health. In order to save energy, solar panels have been installed for radiant heating of the apartments, hot water and heating the water of the swimming pool and whirlpool.
The complex is surrounded by beautiful gardens, pathways, streams and waterfalls, that cover the more than 10.000 m2 of land that surrounds the mill and that remind you of the gardens of the Alhambra. The guests of the resort can eat for free any existing organic products in the garden such as apricots, grapes, quince, figs, apples, peaches, plums, etc.

There is playground for children where they can play freely without any danger inside this enclosure.
You can braise your own dishes at the barbecue by the walnut centenary accompanied by a glass of local wine in order to enjoy the cool summer nights next to river Galera. Moreover there is also an indoor communal area with a library, a pool table, a ping-pong and table games.

This apartment is situated next to the communal lounge which has a fireplace, several benches and armchairs and a television. In the mill are 5 more apartments situated. In the garden you can enjoy the big swimming pool (June till November) with comfortable deck chairs. The pool is shared with the other guests and is covered when necessary.
