This district is formed by the localities of Cortes, Graena, Lopera and Los Baños, all on the north side of Sierra Nevada and framed in a spectacular mountain scenery. It has two great tourist attractions, the cave houses and thermal spa baths in Graena, whose waters were recognized internationally in the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1900. Its route becomes a stroll through history from the Bronze Age, the Roman period to the Arab settlement.
Cortes and Graena also offers the visitor many places to discover with tours, excursions, and enjoy activities such as hiking and mountaineering. In its vicinity, you can practice sports such as hunting and fishing.
